Can you even get pressure washers serviced?? Thanks in advance. I just bought a Gerni Pressure cleaner 2 weeks ago from Bunnings.

Only a small unit but for the coin I paid it's good value. $128, 100Bar pressure 5M hose, metal pump, 2 year warranty. I was going to get my Karcher unit serviced but for the price of a new unit thought it wasn't worth fixing the old one.

Easy be up for $100 for a service & that'd be without parts. In the instruction booklet I got this number for service - 1300 733 171 or email. I used to have a bloke in Sunshine not far from me, who used to repair all brands of pressure washers and stuff, i have had to purchase gerni parts ( nozzles ) and karcher parts for my wet and dry vacc off him over the years too! He is very good with his prices. I will try and hunt him down.

But it also couldnt hurt to contact the mob you gave me the number for mate. I think from memory my Gerni cost me $600 but its not the coin, its how reliable its been over the years, that makes me not wanna replace it. I have had my Gerni for well over 6 years and its never missed a beat! But yesterday i got it out to wash the car and it seems to be starving for water somewhere along the line. And the water coming out of the nozzle is going in all directions and has no pressure behind it, its not the nozzle as i have tried 3 different ones.

It'll definately be cheaper than buying a new one. Well after all that, it ended being that i had 5 different nozzles that were all blocked. And the bypass mechanism on the pump inside my Gerni has had the gong!

It will still run however and i can still use it, but its only a matter of time before it dies, The bloke who served me was very helpful, as he took it straight out the back to the workshop and eliminated a few things only to find it was a blocked nozzle. Future reference for those that have something like this that packs up, New pump bypass - ( if i could still get one, gerni 6 years old ) $80 - $100 Labour costs - minimum 1 hour $80 Takes it to nearly $200 and you can replace it for something the same for $400 new!
